    lol The only way that is even a plan is that they signed him to this ludicrous number so when he is waived no one will even touch him with a ten foot pole with that contract - that reeks of Chuck Fletcher mastermind way of making guys pass thru waivers. I would have taken a swing at Stolarz first before handing him this contract. At least Stollie has a proven track record in the NHL as a tandem goalie. Can't wait to hear @flyercanuck thoughts. In a rebuild this just makes no sense...

    I feel that question should have been answered assuredly before handing him that contract. It's a rebuild and the contract is even up before Michkov even comes over. It makes zero sense. And tandem money is a terrible excuse too. We completely disagree on this.

    I like this kid and not real familiar with the other kid. He is a right hand shot and is suppose to be an offensive RHD. So till some of these kids lock in a spot keep drafting these right hand shot kids seems harder to find these types (sure always BPA too though no reaching).

    exactly nothing else what needs to happen and what will fix this is excruciating to deal with and well it will be a mess for a few years...many of us (including me) don't have the stomach or patience for this.

    It is why i am suggesting low cost options instead of huge blockbuster deals that will just require many assets and may still not work. Not many clubs are going to want to move the big young centers around the NHL for low cost. But i am willing to part with assets to get a young center of possible if someone can suggest something that is doable. But the way they continue to draft in the 12-16 range just isn't going to get them there i'm afraid.
