    I do remember the #legendary leadership of the time, yes. In terms of results? Fine. They're slightly less disastrous. Do you think that's because they spent all the draft capital to turn Gostisbehere and Hagg into Ristolainen and DeAngelo? Because I don't. I think they finally left behind the #legendary leadership and hired an outside company to choose a new coach. But I'd still rather have the draft picks over the different players doing basically the same thing.

    You've watched this season, right? Is it markedly better than 2020-2021? Because they've spent a TON of capital to get to pretty much the same place. Almost like they didn't need to spend anything at all.

    The Stars moved Khudobin - which was widely regarded as nigh impossible. The idea that NO ONE was interested in an expiring half price contract on a 20-goal scorer seems... Unlikely. More likely no one will deal with the Flyers on nothing significant. Fletch has acquired two injured players and heavily overpaid for another.

    Is anyone "part of a solution" in the next 3-4 years? I would be hard pressed to agree. The idea "Nick Seeler" is an important piece - or even "Laughts" for that matter - is laughable.

    The rest of the league is happy as hell watching the Flyers twist in the breeze. They are loving it. The fact they get to screw over Fletcher is a bonus.
