She does a nice job for sure. Maybe takes a bit long to get out her commentary ala Walz.

She definitely knows her stuff, as evidenced by her work prior in-studio.
But she also definitely needs to work on her delivery and pacing for on-air color commentary.
Different animal from doing static in-studio work, I know.

Hopefully, that will come with time and practice for her.

I'm still not sold on GiGi, would like to see Carter back for comparison.

Would also like to see Mark Parrish given a try out. He's generally an entertaining guy.

Parrish would be fun to listen to on the Fly.

Getting sloppy out there...

wow that period was bad

Yea, but, anytime a team plays a "bad" period, yet continues to shut out the opposition, you take that and run with it!

NJ came back late on the Lightning because the Champs let up on them while the Devils upped the pressure.
I am sure Minnesota is aware of that, and after that second, should NOT come out complacent in the 3rd.

The boys should be ready to work the final 20 minutes!

Big game for the Wild. Need a win to get 3 points out of the 3 game road trip. Won’t be easy though. Devils are a good, young and improving team. Already have wins this year over Tampa and Florida, whom they beat 7-2. Jack Hughes is still out. Mercer is a good player and while I’ve never cared for Subban, the defensemen are a good looking group.

Wild will need to be sharp to get the win. Let’s go!!!!!

Thanks for starting this thread. I was waiting for MNSOTA's start and her pre-view gamer. Then I went to work and just came back. Probably, I lost some nice 2 periods of hockey from our team.

I am not sure I'd characterize this is a 'big game' for the Wild but certainly an opportunity to get another 2 points and hold serve as they'd say in tennis.  I think the first period kind of demonstrated the Wild's mindset to be physical against this younger, smaller team.

Thanks for the post. Completely unknown team for me.

Fiala and Sturm are sniffing one of those 'smelling strips' on the bench.....or, perhaps it is some columbian cocaine adhered to a piece of hockey tape....You never can tell with these guys.  It would explain period 3 energy these last several games.
