Parise 2022= Roster 'filler and depth' 😂.  Just retire already, ya hack...it is embarrassing at this point to try play beyond your expired date

Same could be said about Chara.😀

I'll always give Parise credit for playing his heart out with us but when we got him, He was a season or two past the pinnacle of his career.
The slope got very steep really quick.
His 'Sell By' date was probably 2018. 😁

Unffortunatly many players can't see their expiration date, Parise and Chara are prime examples.

But I imagine it must be really hard to give it up.

JimTown and I can probably skate better than Parise - and we are on the WRONG side of 50, which isn't saying that we are world beaters at our age (sorry JT), but it DOES say this 'ice-cracker' needs to hand up the skates (and the gargantuan EGO).  I don't have fond memories of him doing much except cashing checks and losing in the playoffs.....
