Not thrilled with the prospects of this game.

The Wild have been off for 3 - 4 days again.

Why are they playing so infrequintly?  at this pace they will be playing a lot of back to backs to catch up.

If GMBG has input into the schedule, this would be his biggest knock against him.

I don't like the pause in the schedule, but otherwise I think we might be able to win them. Fight for the possession in the boards and behind the goal line. If they can get the puck there, we could take their offense away.

4 - 3 OT win for the Wild.

I *think* the schedule is alll computerised and has to coordinate with the venue's schedules (concerts, Monster Trucks etc) The the team can add specific dates like Hockey Day and it tries to figure it all out.
Throw in the Olympics, The Covid cancellations and it becomes a real mess.

Agreed, The days off doesn't bode well for us so far this season.
But I'll go with a Wild win 4-3 OT upset.

* Lol...I saw lynx post right as I was finishing my sentence. Good call !! 😁

Yes indeed! Now all we need is the Wild actually pulling that surprise victory off 😎

Actually we are going to have a very busy schedule. In next 77 days we will have 40 games. Interesting fact that Foligno will miss 2 games (against Carolina and Detroit) and then he will play against Jets on Wednesday(February 16) again. Hope he will collect more energy during the resting time to be ready for a real physical play in Winnipeg.  And after that game we will have one game against Panthers and then 4 games in a row in Canada (Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary). Wow.

this fantastical  4 goal average a game scoring team of ours ..could be shut out 2 in a row 😔

We need to get back to playing simple hockey....Lose the long stretch passes, the drop-backs, etc.  Just shoot on the net and get in the crease for the love of God.😒
