jammer2
Really like this pick. Big kid, strong skater, primary pk guy for US National team. Played a bottom six role, but scored at a decent rate considering ice time etc. One publication had him early 2nd, but most had him 3rd rd. Nice upside! jammer2
SB Nation has a very nice write up on Kaplan, if someone can copy link, seems to be a problem for me...lol.

mojo1917
I hope he gets to wear #69 ( in honor of his draft position) that will be awesome!
pilldoc
Based on the reports available (such as this one from Dobber Prospects), Kaplan’s an offensively-talented winger whose major flaw appears to be his skating and pace of play. We’ve got another if-he-can-just-figure-out-the-skating project on our hands here, folks. Why does it always appear that Flyers draft players that need work on skating ....just curious ......

Because who needs skating? I mean, maybe if the game were played on ice or something, then that would probably be a problem. But that would be crazy. 1
