It should be a must win revenge game. Nice test chance against a good playoffs team. Last time we lost against Kraken team with a high score 0:4 on our home ice which was not acceptable in front of our fans. Interesting, I just looked for our Conference stats and found that we placed less goals (219) among 8 teams pretending for the playoffs season spot. Oilers probably will reach 300 goals mark at the end of the regular season. They placed 286 goals already. Good news - we had in our net so far less goals too (198) mostly by the help of Gustavsson's outstanding play this season.

I think if you asked Bill Guerin he would say there are not any must win games left this season as long as the Wild make the playoffs.
Which at this point it would be pretty hard to slip out of a wild card spot.
I think Bill’s main goal is to go into the playoffs healthy and playing sound disciplined hockey.
Winning the division is nice, but really doesn’t matter if they lose in the first round.

As of today this is our first round opponent ...must show them who's gonna be boss in this series Angry Sponge Bob GIF by SpongeBob SquarePants 5-3 wild

Agree.
Kraken can score so if Fleury's in net we'll probably need 4-5 to win.
Was going to go 5-3 also but I'll go with 5-4 Wild win.

I will go with same score 5:4(probably in OT or SO) because Fleury is in the net. Still I would prefer Gustavsson in the net because of his solid play so far and who was again a star of the week last week. I do not think we would make a playoffs without his outstanding play this season. He was able to steal lots of games for us. His GAA 2.01; .932 are making an impressive sense.

My main reason for a must win games at this moment is not a winning the division but to keep pace and build the chemistry for such a kind of new team for us. We have got recently 4 new players : Klingberg; Johansson; Sundqvist and Nyquist  plus we have got Reaves at the end of November. I am still worry about Nyquist fit into the team during the playoffs. Is he capable to fit well and where? Not sure. The 4th line (Dewar-Shaw-Reaves) is pretty good and productive so far.

Kraken have gotten to be a team I enjoy following. No superstars just guys who buy into team mentality. That and I’m a bit biased since they have a former player and coach for the UND in Hakstol. They were calling for his head back in December. With that said the hell with them tonight. Wild 6-4 with an empty netter

They are going to have some really tough choices to make on who plays and who sits when the playoffs start.
Unfortunately the goalie choice probably has been made and I’m afraid it will be Fluery.

He'll start GM 1 for sure but this time depending on how it goes, I'd only give the 2nd and then go to Gus.
I'd rather alternate to mix up the opposition so they don't get used to Fleury.
