Greetings:

The Isles are favored (-235) and it looks like Hart versus Sorokin:

The Isles are good defensively and have taken two of three so far this season:

The audition for next year continues.

Let's hope so. Wasn't aware you can only retain salary on 3 guys. Didn't know there was a limit.

Move on from both and then maybe Risto later. But i will say Risto has shown slight improvement in his game.

I may have a minute or two to sit down and watch some of this.

Good news for next game.

Seems Tony might not play again this season.

I hope for the last time ever in the Philly Uni.

Package them (Hayes) both to Columbus if they want them. Salary dump.

Looking back now we can blame not pulling off 3 simple trades costing them Bedard.

Had they traded TK, Cates and Frost they would be sitting with the top pick. Those 3 won them 13 games....

:rage:

Traded MacEwen sooner 3 more games they may have lost.

That you JVR for doing something for the tank.

Since you are worthless and can't even score for 7 million...

...at least help put one pass Carter Hart to help speed up the end your tenure in Philly.

I only watched the highlights (if you can call them that) cause I find the Islanders a painful team to watch on any night and against us it was bound to be a snoozefest. Doesn't look like I missed much. Hart looked iffy from the bits I saw.

We are garbage. This you already know.

They should start next season with Hayes and Deangelo as co captains and play them both 30 minutes a night. You have to attempt to get some value into their games. Right now there is virtually none as a trade asset. The next 2 years are tear down years if Briere is serious about rebuilding. The cap is a mess and the draft capital is not good, so why not take a chance at increasing their worth as trade chips. Hopefully some desperate GM would take a chance on them at the deadline next year.

See this isn't doing anything for Hart's already fragile confidence.

It's a typical Tortorella move.

He's done his job in Philly as far as I'm concerned...Fletchers gone. Hopefully the new GM, whether it's Briere or not, hires a long term coach.
