AlaskaFlyerFan
https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/40031644/nhl-draft-lottery-scheduled-7 Flyers have a 2.5% chance to win the 1st overall pick on May 7th. I’m not sure where the “can’t move up more than 10 spots” comment/rumor I’ve read on here is coming from. I don’t see it in the 2023 draft lottery rules, (can’t find 2024 rules). I thought the Flyers had a chance to win the first pick, too, until last night when I found and read this article. https://thehockeynews.com/news/nhl-draft-lottery-day-set-what-are-the-odds#:~:text=A team participating in the, receives the first overall pick. I stand corrected. When I searched for the rules, neither of those links came up. That’s what I get for relying on ESPN and their incomplete reporting!

AlaskaFlyerFan
No, no. I deserved it. I should’ve went right to the NHL site to begin with. Besides, I’ve been around here for a long time. I know you’re a smarmy, old bastage!

Math
Chicago will win the lottery. Book it. No way the League takes any risk with a team like Columbus picking first.
