Mad Dog Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 If only it didn't all end on such a sad note... Quote
sarsippius Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Good times. That series and all the Penguin hate, that really was a lot of fun. Flyers - Pens might be the best rivalry going in all of Philly sports right now. Quote
idahophilly Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Thanks Irish! Got to be proud of what we did accomplish and learn from what we didn't. We really did man-handle each other in that series. No wonder round 2 went the way it did... Quote
OccamsRazor Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 The hardest part is REALIZING i'm going to have to pull for Richie, Carts, Justin and Simon to hoist the Cup because i just can't bring myself to root for the Rangers...can't do it so as bad as this is going to hurt..i'll have to do it! 1 Quote

I think you need 40 or at least 1 game in the finals. I think that LA could petition for his name to go on anyway. Probably a good chance they would given the Kings are Flyers West. Quote
AndyS Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Wish Gagne could play in the Finals. I wonder if there is any chance? Quote
idahophilly Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I thought a saw he was cleared for contact! Give him one game in the finals on 3rd or 4th lines so he gets his name on the cup. Whats more concerning... The Frickin Rags winning the cup! Quote
canoli Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 please god no, not the gawddamn Rags with another Cup...I'm still barely over the Richter/Messier year and this town really sucks when the home team wins something. It's true nobody gives much of a damn about hockey in NYC but those that do...they never let it go.Even worse than them winning the Cup is I don't have a SINGLE victory this year to say "well if we'd met in the POs it would've been a different story." If only we could've won that damn WC...at least that. Quote
