nossagog Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) NBC reporting that Steven Stamkos has not been given medical clearance to play in the olympic games. Who shall replace him. jammer2 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 St.Louis deserves this spot. Based on history and this year. I don't know if this reason will come up on anybody else's radar, but this is his last shot at representing Canada...and he has been a warrior for Canada. As much as I want G to get the spot, St.Louis deserves it more. Quote
flyercanuck Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 St. Louis should be the choice, if you're taking the guy who deserves it. Giroux or Staal could also be considered. But Stamkos was supposed to be the shooter on Crosbys line and Neal may well fill that spot. Quote
off_the_post Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I have a feeling they will go with Neal on that line. Failing that Carter will go to that line and I think St. Louis will then get the spot. Quote
