Though Giroux/Couturier may have swayed him our way a bit.Or, the other side: he moved Hall and Eberle to Crosby's line after meeting with Chiarelli. They were just waiting for him to get back from Europe to officially announce. Of the free agent Shiney coaches, I agree he probably would have been the best fit.
