Hart pitches a 31 save shutout to earn the games 1st star in 2-0 win over Moose Jaw.

Pascal Laberge was 1st star with 1g 1a in a 4-3 win over the Remparts.

German Rubtsov’s tremendous effort earns him first star of the game honors

In fairness, most of us here could have put that one in.

I've always liked Oskar. Is this (i.e., next year) his year?

I think the more important takeaway from the video was how far along his skating has come. He's not slow.

I think he's over for good after the SHL wraps up. Whether he makes the big club out of the gate next year or stays in the AHL to get used to NA is another question.

Ok, yeah good point on the skating. Is Coots watching?

Phillipe Myers had 2 assists and the games 2nd star in a 2-1 Huskies win over Val D'Or. It was his first game back since getting concussed over a month ago.

Rubtsov had 1g 1a in a 6-4 loss to the Armada.

Laberge had an assist in a 6-5 loss.

Hart was 1st star with 30 saves in a 2-1 win over the Toon.

Big deal, that's all Jr hockey where they're playing against kids. Next you'll be telling us about their exploits in PeeWee!  :NinjaLookLeftRight1:

I think it could be worth a shot for the Flyers to try and get Dennis Everberg back over here on a contract. He plays LW and has some damn good size 6-4 210 Flyers lack size for real kid is only 25. He only got a chance to play 70 NHL games.

Flyers are just to small and soft.

Everberg played here last year.  No thanks.  There is a reason he only played 70 NHL games.  70 was too many.

Yeah and what was that reason?

He is doing well in the SHL.

Interesting work by Appleyard today. In ~100 transfers between AHL and SHL in recent years (both directions), point production has generally been comparable. Players moving to AHL from SHL went up a couple hundedths of a point per game, those leaving the AHL for the SHL lost a couple hundredths. Bodes well for Lindblom.
