OccamsRazor
Looks like this is it for McKenna... ...what an honor for it to be with the Phantoms. I have never read anything bad about the guy such a great teammate, friend and father. I wish nothing but the best for the guy. And to end it in shootout win is even better....sad they won't make the playoffs. And Strome to win it!!!!! A nice move by Kase to tie the game. Good luck with the 2nd part of your journey.

OccamsRazor
Will they be signing him to an ELC and starting next year on the Phantoms??? https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/300071/wyatte-wylie He just completed his 3rd season of juniors. He can be used on the Phantoms next year they only have one right hand shot Willcox.
OccamsRazor
Seems i bad a error. I thought Mark Friedman was done with his entry level contract. I was wrong. So he can play for the Phantoms next year. Good one more year on his ELC. Schlemko - Friedman Brennan - Willcox Mcdud - Wylie Will be the top 4 down there. Wylie i think will be signed to help fill out the bottom pair. Who else will be added i am not sure...i think Mcdud fills it out after he gets buried for his last year. Friedman should be first call up.

OccamsRazor
Looking forward to a better 2019-20. It's playoffs or bust with Lyon and Sandstrom leading the way. I would also like to at least by mid season see Sandstrom getting the lion share of the starts. I'm afraid Lyon who will be 27 by mid season is at his peak which is an AHLer and should be treated as such Felix is the guy who needs to be getting groomed to help Carter Hart out. And who knows he (Felix) could be claimed in the expansion draft any ways. Edited April 14, 2019 by OccamsRazor

OccamsRazor
Ratcliffe looks like a man on a mission... Haven't seen this kid mentioned much but could this kid be a wild card next camp preseason to make the Flyers. He certainly has the size at 6-6 and a nose for the net.... brelic
O'Brien is headed to a lower-tier league to try and get back on track. https://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Bill-Meltzer/Report-OBrien-Headed-to-BCHL/45/99135 Not great news.

Well it gives him a chance to get back into the game and play. Get some confidence back and just go from there. This roll of the dice by Hextall doesn't look so hot now but who knows in a few years we'll see. Still think the Flyers should have took K'Andre Miller...buy hey now they get to play against him with the Rangers....

It was a bit of a strange pick by Hextall, but they obviously saw something in him. They won't all pan out.

Oh well I hope he does pan out. And if Rubtsov doesn't pan out that could be another 1st rounder down the drain. Time will tell on these kids I am hoping Ruby rebounds from his shoulder surgery and has a good year for the Phantoms. This gives JO a chance to play otherwise if he transferred he would have to sit out. That would not be good for his development.

The kid is a burner, that's first and foremost what they saw. Hextall had already drafted Farabee, O'Brien was of interest and wouldn't have been around when they picked next so they took a Flyer on him. I loved what I heard and saw from him right after the draft, he was very good in the Gretzky/Hlkina tournament. Then he got hurt, if he can remain healthy he will be an NHL player. He has a high, high compete level and that got him beat up in his freshman year, he'll grow and he'll be a dude we love on our team.

The BCHL? In your draft +2 year? Wouldn't his high school take him back? Christ at least go to the Q.
