Who would have thought that you come back to the forums when Koivu leaves On this night's game: dare I even say this, but as I got back from work today, I got this odd thought. It said: "That was a hard day, but I'll be entertained by the game tonight". Entertained! Like the Wild would ever have played entertaining hockey! Blue-collar hockey at its best, yes. Games worth playing and games worth watching, at its best, yes. But entertaining? That is what my thoughts try to feed me. That the Wild plays hockey that is fun to watch. That the players are having fun playing. I must be going out of my mind. Seriously, Koivu's departure was a big factor but now for a long, long time the Wild's goalie department is also way above average. Granny's trade for Fiala seems to have worked out pretty well too. Personally for me, he is a 2nd Tretiak for his solid consistency so far, but not like our former goalie Backstrom which Russo compared with. Even KK did not like that comparison with Backstrom. Talbot is also improving his consistency in front of the pretty good team. We are 4 points behind the 1st place of our Division - Vegas team, and few teams behind us permanently are biting our heels every time. In my opinion, tonight it should be our a must win game again.
