Sure, traded by an idiot who never valued goalies, so he could ink a lunatic to a lifetime contract.

Fletcher could have topped that though...he would have sent Bob, a 2nd and 2-4ths.

Besrs in the woods = not a realistic outlook on life  :)

The goalie we traded for was sent down to the A along with his $5 million contract by the Kings after putting up abysmal numbers in the NHL. The other 4 have a grand total of 12 games NHL experience.

If someone wants to blow us away with a trade proposal for Hart, I'm all in. Moving him for something like a 2nd rounder just for the sake of it makes zero sense.

I agree Philly should bring in a Russian before Michkov gets here. Hopefully a very mature one.

Well of course , I’m not saying Hart is gone just to be rid of him. We need to get a great return for him, I’m just saying the writing is on the wall and we are rebuilding..  We traded our best defenseman,so  as of now Sanheim is our best defenseman. Hes on the trading block, so as bad as our defense was last year, on paper this year looks a lot worse. ,Provy  played huge minutes, we have no one to take those minutes, so my biggest worry is when we have a barely NHL caliber defense and possibly some rookies like Attard, Zamula, etc making the team…so chances are Harts stats are going to suffer tremendously and his value will drop.

I think other GMs know the **** show that has happened and will happen. To a certain degree, his value should remain a top 10 Goalie with upside. I didn't know LAs starter Phoenix Copley is 31...or is 50 year old Talbot the go to guy? For a team with contending aspirations...that is a sketchy duo....hmmmmm....

No he is not.

He's here for the next 8 years unless he decides he wants to leave.

That ship has sailed.

Sure, you just need a great group of 6 Dmen, the most defensively responsible group of forwards in the league and tremendous offensive contributions from unlikely sources!

Basically yeah 6 guys with size who aren't afraid to mix it up go in the corners and seek the puck.

Whiteclouds contributions were really underrated on that defense! For my money, the best bottom pair guy in hockey! Even chipped in an OT goal!

An under the radar big D man a left shot will push hard in another year or two good skater...Hunter Mcdonald. 6-4 200.

Back to college another year.

As a freshman he ranked third in the country with 94 blocked shots and was named Hockey East's best defensive defenseman.

Hey the executives and coaches want them to go hard, so if someone gets hurt, that's on coaching and the executives for telling these guys to go hard at all times.

Yeah it's hockey not horse shoes guys will get hurt moving at that speed.

I just hope Desnoyers is ok i have him penciled into the 3rd line LW spot once all is said and done kid is ready.

Sanheim was out best defenseman going into last season and really had a dud of a year.  There's a strong possibility he rebounds in a good way and lives up the contract.

Dont see why so many people are itching to get rid of Sanheim.  His cap hit is fine especially w cap going up next year and the odds are we get an improved defenseman in Travis as the team structure solidifies and improves.

The Flyers have direction for the first time in YEARS so I'm genuinely excited.  And I expect Sanheim to be a reliable 2nd pair LHD.
