Quick is definitely back to form the past few games. Niemi has been meh.

The sharks won 4 games out of 5 when Torres came back from injury and then he had to stay out for a bit again to get truly healthy for the playoffs. Having him back for the first round is crucial so long as he does not cross the line. a 2nd line caliber forward on the 4th line adds quite a bit of depth. That and having the kid who was in the lead for the Calder, Hertl, back from injury right in time for the playoffs too. 15 goals in 35 game well ahead of Mackinnon, was a tough break when brown kneed him and tore his MCL.

Having both of them back at 100% is a huge infusion to the 3rd and 4th lines. 3 goals and an assist and making those around them better. Mike Brown especially has enjoyed time with Torres. That 4th line has more hits than any other line on either team with only 9 minutes of icetime a game.

I suspect I will poop a little every shift Kopitar is out against Sheppard.

I Might put Detroit vs Colorado higher lol.

Damn watching those games......Roy fighting any goalie he could. Shame Hasek tripped and bowled him over and the refs got between them.

It is not every day you get to see 2 of the greatest goalies of all time fight.

Doug Murray was a Shark I loved. Takes no prisoners in front of the net, works hard and can outmuscle anyone. He also has rarely lost a real fight that iI have seen.

Blocks shots great and is great in the PK.

Worst skater in the NHL on the other hands. Speedy guys can make him look like a pylon. He has good positioning, but you can tell from 30 feet away if he is going to get beat when a guy accelerates on him.

Will be great as a PK specialist and bottom 6 guy
