Powe will be a good leader in the AHL and he's a good call up when Flyers have injures. Powe doesn't make stupid mistakes and is pretty decent on the PK.
Gagne is on the market again....supposedly Boston has given Gags an invite, thought this guys career was done. http://www.torontosun.com/2014/08/15/simon-gagne-invited-to-bruins-camp
Rumblings out of Chicago is that Sharp may be available. Not sure if they are true or not but Toews and Kane's contracts are up in 2015 and I'm sure they will get hefty raises which might mean Patrick Sharp may be the odd man out. Would Flyers be willing to trade for him? and what would you give up for Sharp?
Kimmo gone saves 6mil plus getting rid of Mez will free up another 4+mil and an increase of 6mil to the cap will help because Homer likes being against the cap. Flyers need top need to sign Mason and B.Schenn yet, both are RFA's.
Gus, Coburn and L.Schenn have speed yet never leave the blueline. I agree with the post that offense starts with the defense..Flyers D needs to pinch more than they do because the shots form the point aren't working...especially our D that can't hit the net.
