  6. Did your work transfer you to south Carolina? I was thinking you still in the city by the lake!

Nope, no more snow for me.  I'm officially a South Carolinian. ;)   Instead of shoveling snow yesterday, I had to empty the sand out of my golf shoes. Its a tough life, but someone's got to do it.

Good for you! Anywhere near Beaufort?

Myrtle Beach, probably four plus hours from Beaufort.

  7. Why apologize? I am close to what you believe! I'm hoping that Obama is true to his word and sets Trump up for success. If so, manufacturing should pick up in about 2- 2 1/2yrs. If not, 31/2-4 yes!

All good, my apologies, I was teasing an Oiler fan who constantly berates Eberle that he needs to get ahold of you about swapping Eberle for Fleury, lol, strictly meant to be a joke. I meant to send you a PM and make certain the comment did not offend as it was meant to be humor because I was worried it might sound a bit snarky on my part.

      Take care,

      Dave

I'll would love to take eberle for fleury! In fact I would take a pb&j sandwich for fleury!

I accidentally flagged a comment on Ryan Miller save on I think on Zetteburg! I was scrolling down and hit the flag by accident!

  9. I actually flagged a comment of yours I want to apologize for any inconvenience! I couldn't type a comment on HF board to correct the mishap! I asked Polaris22 to take care of it! I'm not sure if he took care of it or if he will!

  10. I read some of your comments in Trump vs Clinton... Prediction and agreed with what you had to say! (You would be one of the extremely few police officers that I might be able to get along with!

Don't have to apologize, I am very close with the same beliefs! I hope Obama stays true to his word and sets Trump up for success! ( though doubtful). If he is true to his word, manufacturing will start to pick up in about 2years if not I'm guessing 3 1/2 years!

I just think Trump gets us back to reasonable finances and constitutional government.  Obama was a failed experiment and Clinton would be catastrophic.

To bad Obama was elected twice (don't blame me I didn't vote for him, twice)!

What I am hoping for is manufacturing to start back up! I'm hope steel comes back to Pittsburgh (I doubt it). Plus what is going on with education, steel would be a bonus!

I'm hoping Obama care is repealed. (Is it possible?) Though I have healthcare through where I work it still cost me a nice penny!

  11. I accidentally flagged yave1964 comment about a Miller's save on Zetterberg,( I think) I would like to correct that mistake! I went to hf but could not type a message! Thank you for helping out!

Don't know off the top of my head of any Vietnamese specific styles, but there are tons of kung fu styles out of China.

Wushu (sport kung fu), Wing Chun (traditional misdirection/striking style), and various animal styles for instance (monkey, mantis, leopard)...just to name a few that come to mind.

Don't know much about Chinese styles as I have never partaken in them, but I do know China has no shortage of varieties

Thanks for the information! I had a few conversation about this subject awhile back with some coworkers and it sparked some interest!

NP. I do like talking martial arts. Not something everyone either likes to talk about or know much about to be able to carry on a conversation with me for long about. But I don't mind answering questions (ones I can anyways) about it.

I am not a master by any stretch, but I have been involved to various degrees in it since I was about 7 years old.

Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido are more my thing.

I managed an Ea Dan ranking in both...2nd degree black...which is considered 'lower tier' among black belts, but I have been around and exposed to different people of different types of martial arts over the years (including my husband who was an Army Ranger), and have learned to keep an open mind about different ones and to try and at least understand what is behind what they practice.

I've even gotten involved for short periods in others outside my usual Korean styles just to get a taste of what they are like.

Japanese Ueichi-Ryu (traditional karate) and Jiu Jitsu (grappling/wrestling), Muy Thai (Kickboxing from Thailand), South American Capoeira (dancing style with lots of kicking...yes, I said DANCING...lol), Shim Shin Do (sort of a 'dirty version' of tae kwon do), and even good ol fashioned American boxing...these are some of the other things I've done in samples at different points to be able to say, "hey, I've tried that!"

As for my husband, I picked up some Krav Maga from him...I believe that is what the military uses in their hand to hand combat training.

LOL..sorry for the ramble. As you can see, I do love this sort of stuff.

As a mom now, I don't get that opportunity to do these things much, except incorporate them sometimes into my morning exercise routines.....I am trying NOT to be one of those moms who puts on a bunch of weight, then can't lose it again....probably vain on my part, but hey, I am not an old lady yet....
