    This would be a good time top put Giroux in the rafters for a game. I agree Varacek is dong a lot of skating but goes nowhere and then gives up the puck.

    Center Ice had the Isles broadcast team and they had Jonesy on. He was asked why the Flyers are playing better? He replied conditioning and now they are skating.

    Speed on the ice and the slow motion view are to say the least different. The Ref saw the shoulder to the head but after seeing the replay they gave the Oilers a makeup call.

    Should have watched NCIS I guess. NO HEART to this team. Sad state of affairs when Old Man Gill is one of the best players on the ice. Even if they play this bad all year and get the first pick they will not get the best player.

    One way to maybe get this thing moving in the right direction. Put the C on Vinny. The man can score pass and work hard and oh yeah not afraid to drop the gloves.

    Talbot is a veteran and he probably said,"I am not happy here which does me and the team no good." He is not playing like the Talbot of last year IMO> Downey probably means Roshill gets even less time on ice also JMO.

    As good as he looked Gustafsom made some glaring mistakes in his own.end Icing the puck and not passing too good in the offensive end.

    I agree Sharp played well in Philly JVR did not.

    If they don't get the high sticking call on the Panthers near the end they could have been in big trouble. First line is conspicuous by their absence

    Actually it was Snider who tired of the beatings the Flyers enured and he elected to get tough guys but they were also tough guys who could play the game. Great news to hear.

    I can only hope this does not turn out like Gratton. We needed a goalie then we need a goalie now but once again they get a forward. Having said all that I like Vinny and I want this to be a good deal.
