    Trevor Bauer disagrees with you. He claimed his innocence and it took over 2 years to clear his name. He lost millions and was PUBLICLY AND FALSELY attacked for years because of it.

    Did you ignore my first statement? If they are guilty they should be charged. How is that giving anyone a pass? I also mentioned a few high profile persons on both sides of the problem.

    Don’t know the background to the story but if they are guilty they should be punished. The problem is the false accusations that are straight up money grubbing individuals are as often as not the case. Amber Heard says hello…..

    Due to the length of time from the original investigation. I am not saying the original investigation was done correctly but why did it take 4 or 5 years to correct it? I can think of 83 million reasons why false accusations can and are made.

    So many of these accusations are strictly a money grab. Trevor Bauer(sp?) really stands out. He was hung out to dry before anything was investigated and turns out they were totally fabricated charges. He is still screwed out of millions despite being totally cleared of all allegations. I do not want to see guilty people go free either but boy is the timing questionable at best.

    What happened to Ersson and Konecny? I was sidetracked for 5 minutes and announcers aren’t saying anything other than they are off the ice. well Ersson only dehydrated. Probably flu related.

    Lots of hustle from the whole team tonight. Fun to watch.

    Actually looking forward to experimenting with different lines and personnel at the beginning and not going with the status quo. Bad turnovers really need to be addressed no matter who does it. They truly need to put a review system in place to punish refs that constantly make POOR/WRONG calls. That will go a long way towards making hockey games more watchable. That needs to be league wide, not just philly games.

    Does the name Theo Fluery ring a bell? Or maybe Sami Kapinen? Size is not the be all end all when it comes to skills on the ice.

    That was my opinion of Torts until he proved otherwise too. Briere doesn’t have a record or reputation per se so even though he is a former Flyer, I am willing to give him a chance. I absolutely love how he started by dumping the chafe and is starting from scratch. Flyers should be icing the youngest team in the NHL(other than Marc Staal who I look at as a playing coach). Honestly, just looking forward to watching real hockey again period.

    Retired 2 years ago and have been splitting time between Pa and Fla. Loving every minute of it.

    I am POSITIVE I am NOT going to miss Fletcher, Hayes, DeAngelo, (insert multiple more names here). Is that a good start?

    This game was outright stolen by poor officiating. The non calls that should have been made would have negated a minimum of 2 of the goals. I hope Torts takes the fine and calls out the POS refs and this travesty of officiating.

    That was pretty awesome. Watched the segment they did. Konecny spent about 20 minutes on the ice with him after everyone else left it. That was probably one of the bright spots this year for the Flyers.

    Maybe Jonesy can come out of retirement to at least teach them how to get under the skin of your opponents. He was one of the best crap stirrers in the game in his time. It would certainly increase the entertainment of the games.

    @Howie58 I just want to say thank you for taking the time to start a post with the basic info for every Flyers game. I don’t always post but I frequently check in for the broadcast location and your often poignant takes on the game. You are doing a thankless job this season and I am sure I am not the only one who appreciates it. Kudos my friend.

    Well they beat a team that has been bitten by the injury bug as bad as themselves. That is not to take away that it was the second game in a row that they really played good hockey considering the roster they are putting on the ice. I very much prefer watchable hockey even if they lose. That, and I think is the coach getting every ounce of performance out of the hand he has been dealt.

    I find it hilarious that Tortarella was the last guy that I had wanted to see coaching the Flyers to him being one of the very few bright spots on the team. They really miss Coots too.
