  1. Not good at all. We need the players getting healthy heading into the playoffs, not heading to the training room.
  2. @NHL HHOF I have a question. Do players get inducted into the HOF under every team they played for in their career? For example, Mike Modano who played his entire career with the Minnesota North Stars and Dallas Stars and then his last season with the Detroit Red Wings. I see however he is inducted as a Red Wing as well. Baseball and I am not sure about the NFL if the player must chose a team that they had played for in their career to be inducted under. Usually they choose the team they have been with the longest like Rod Carew.
  3. Alex Ovechkin currently sits at 780 goals in 1, 273 games played. He has played 17 seasons. He is currently 36 years old and looks like there are still a few more years of 50+ goals ahead. That being said he will definitely break the record in 2 years unless he has an injury and 4 years way he will hit 1000 goals.
  4. How about they sign Duncan Keith to a 7 year contract and plop him on the top line next year?
  5. This game is going to be a tough one. The Preds would love the win to hold off the surge of Dallas. The Preds are also playing in their home building and the arena there is always rocking. The Wild needs to get out in front first and shut the crowd down. If that doesn't happen they could be in for a long night. I am hoping for a Kevin Fiala 1st period goal to start things off on the right foot to quiet the crowd and some spectacular saves from Talbot to keep them seated. At the end of period 1 the Wild will lead 1-0. In period 2 the Wild will need to keep up the pressure and that will come in the form of two goals by Kap. More great play from Talbot keeps the Preds down. At the end of Period 2 Wild 3 Preds 1. Period 3 not much goes on , but still a few more fantastic saves from Talbot especially at the end of the game to preserve the Win. 3-2 Wild Win.
  6. I do hope the Wild come out with a W every time they hit the ice, but I do have to be realistic as well as the game is tough and physical. This team has definitely outshined what I thought was possible as well at the beginning of the season. They have depth, great defense, and even an offense. The goal tending has been outstanding and the addition of Fleury has added that needed depth there as well. I actually feel that Talbot deserved to get the first shot heading into the playoffs , but we will see how it goes. Home ice is always important, but not the end all in a series. Regardless the Wild will have to play top notch against the Blues each game and look to try and secure a W whether it be at home or on the road. I think if they go into each series with that mentality with taking each game at a time and trying to get that win and then move on then they will do fine.
  7. With only 4 games left for both the Wild and the Blues, the Wild have a 2 point lead in the standings for 2nd in the Central. The Wild have 1 remaining game on the road and 3 at home with 3 possible playoff teams remaining in the Predators, Flames, and Avalanche. They also have the Coyotes at home. These games could be tough for the Wild down the stretch, especially with the 3 possible playoff teams. The St. Louis Blues who are currently sitting 2 points behind the Wild in the Central also have 4 games remaining with 3 on the road and the final game at home. Two of the remaining teams they have to play are possible playoff teams in the Avalanche and Golden Knights and the other two are the Coyotes and Ducks on the road. Playing on the road is never easy, but the teams the Blues play seem to be easier than what the Wild have remaining. Both teams play the Avalanche who are on a small slide at the moment. This seems like it could go down to the last games. Here is the way I see it falling: Wild loses to Preds while Blues win against Coyotes +1 St. Louis Wild win against Coyotes while Blues win against Ducks +1 St. Louis Wild win against Flames while Blues loses to Avalanche +2 Minnesota Wild win in OT against Avalanche while Blues win against Golden Knights +1 Minnesota
  8. They could have the Geezer Line in Philly if they sign Ovechkin, Crosby, and Stamkos once they all should have retired.
  9. I see him with the likes of Ovechkin and Crosby staying put their entire career. The only place he might go for his last year is Toronto.
  10. I remember a few years back when there were rumors floating around that he was going to be traded. I was like no way. He is like Ovechkin with Washington and Crosby with the Penguins. You cannot trade him. He is a Lightning player for life. Congrats on this accomplishment.
  11. I didn't marry until I was 28, but met my husband way before that back in my high school days. He was 3 years older than me.
  12. I enjoy every minute with him. He makes me laugh so much. He also runs me ragged as well and I just need to unwind with his daddy(my husband from time to time.
  13. I also see Toronto and Tampa Bay meeting in the 1st round and Toronto will not surprise in what they usually end up doing. It could still be a long series, but Tampa Bay will prevail in the end.
  14. Filet Mignon. It was really nice. Whenever I can get a date night and I little break from my 5 year old little boy whom I love dearly, I will take it.
  15. Hey guys, enjoy the game tonight. I am going to miss this one as my husband and I are going out tonight. Bring a W home for the Wild.
