    Just had my first kid (son, name TBD) on Friday. Watched part of the devils game holding him in my arms Saturday. Turned the game off after the first period to not expose him to too much of this bs. I’ve been a fan since 1985.

    when is the trade deadline? I can't wait for another one to pass by and the Flyers make a couple minor paper transactions. The best I can hope for with this GM is to not end up in a worse spot than before, but I feel like he keeps putting us there.

    don't get too excited. You know that moving any Flyers player comes at a cost for us. Chuck has set his own dumbass precedent; any other GM in the league would be a fool to take less.

    Provorov's move last night didn't really do much except convince Chuck he now needs to package a 1st round pick with him, instead of a 3rd, when it's time to trade Provy away.

    pretty SOP for this management. How many times have we heard "he's making progress. He's skating and on the ice" to "he's out indefinitely and we don't know when he'll be back or what's wrong with him. there's no timetable for his return"?

    i haven't seen anything credible that he's close to being fired. If anything, considering Flyers management history, he's closer to being promoted.

    Except that Chuck gave away all his 2nd round picks he “had” to give to other teams to take our players to make a “trade.” It’s the only way he knows to make trades. ****** moron. (Chuck, not you)

    this whole game is very shameful. they broadcast is roasting the flyers on national TV and the Pens are eating them alive on the ice. They are, in fact, "going through the motions."

    is there a tracker of man-games lost already? Are the Flyers at the top of that list if it exists? The lineups posted this morning were laughable; we are missing two full forward lines and playing with 8/12 forward guys who should be 4th line or AHLers. This is not a time to be going through the motions... sure it's like Fantasy Camp for Morgan Frost (my new whipping post) but most guys in the lineup now probably are not going to get this playing time or opportunity on other teams.

    in positive news, while the flyers have been losing the last couple games, Arizona, Seattle, and NJD have been winning.
