I think you are misunderstanding me. Of course you factor allison. But he hasnt even made it out of camp yet. And i expect Farabee to be even better, but how many times has that backfired (TK is a fime example) I hope and expect these could be guys we build on, and that the dead weight gets jettisoned. Im just saying lets not annoint them or give them keys to the castle just yet

Someine recently posted a statement from AV. It said something to the effect of them knowing what the issues are (internally), and that certain players may be the issue Im still of the opinion that core and or key playersnon this team are a cancer. I think there is an internal rift revolving around players who have quit on AV and the franchise If they fire AV, we are in for more of the same

Too early to tell. The flyers have way too often had a rookie come in and look great, only to wind up avergae to disappointing when playing full time

Its nice to see us have something to be upbeat about (York). I dont want to piss in the parade, but we might want to tap the brakes. All to often we have had a player come in and show great promise, only to watch them flameout. A season or two ago, Provy was the best d-man we had and future anchor. Now he's being replaced by a kid who skated one game. Thats a bit over the top. And Allison looks great to me, but so did TK and Ghost when they came up We might have a few gems here, but there is no way to project what the lineup will be next season. Hell, there's rumors they might fire AV. And remember, this is the flyers, the place where players play less then 60

Isnt it a bit premature to decide whos doing what next season? I hope we havent anointed Farabee or Allison the next captain

Weird thing, remember the Bertuzzi incident? It was much like Wilson, ended in serious injury. In the Bertuzzi case, he ended the guy's career, but the NHL chose to allow him to remain in the league. Personally, in these cases, I think there is direct bias on 1) who you are, 2) who you play for, 3) what value does your team in the current league make up. I.E, is your team a playoff contender and ratings money maker for the league

Maybe Big Sam can beat up Chara and Wilson. Of course Chara will just tackle him. That's all he can do when fighting a guy his own size
