Obviously, Homer has hacked CF's cell and twitter, and is making deals when he isn't looking
thats the only thing that can explain this bipolar behavior
either that or they are just trying to bug us
What? In the other thread you just said, "I don't see this team getting out of the second round even under the best of circumstances.
Imo their ceiling is making the playoffs and maybe wining one round. That would require a number of things to go right, including Hart returning to at least his 19-20 form."
I'm past the point of taking anything you say seriously. Maybe you should just go back to complaining about everything.
What people? Fans? exactly what can fans do about it?
Sorry, I don't see this the way you do. It's conjecture not based in fact. I don't see Fletcher panicking at all
You seem to hate everything about this team. You don't seem to have a positive thing to say, no matter what happens. If you hate it that bad, maybe you shouldn't watch. Tampa is an easy team to cheer for right now
we already have experience in paying other teams to take our players. I hate JVR almost as much as Jake, but not as much as laughton (irrelevant comment on my part). I'd do whatever to get rid of him
I get your POV on JVR. I would still slot him in a 3rd line position. I suspect he was one of those who sided with the cancer known as Voracek. And he was sent a message when he was left unprotected. I still think the Flyers want to move him, and shed that salary. I don't see him being a factor for this team moving forward. In a black and white word, with his salary, he should be a top six guy. But in the gray world of flyers hockey, he's lazy, unmotivated and a huge under achiever. By demoting him to third line, maybe he gets the message that if he wants to stay, he better up his game. Otherwise he might find a new home at mid season
@ruxpin
I've felt that the Flyers have often rushed young players, whether in development or responsibility (making them captain). Like you pointed out, York has had about a half dozen games. To me, thats not enough to really know. So I prefer they set the roster so its stable. If York, Allison, Frost or anyone else, is that good, and that ready, they will take a spot. And if that happens, there are guys you will gladly put up in the booth to make room for them
They may win. They may not. But they are different and that means they don't suck, YET
I'm excited and appreciate that Chuck is trying to make a difference where we all knew one was needed
By the time Gretz got to LA he had already won 4 cups and was making a mockery of NHL records. It's not like he got to LA and everyone was like, hey who is this guy. His trade was one of , if not the, biggest news story in sports.
It's also not like he got to LA and everyone had to research to find out who he was.
