After everything that has happened regarding the fluffy ginger, I think he has to go. If he was a floater last season, after knowing they want to move him, he'd be atrocious if they didn't. I think that pick is the best leverage to get him out. Maybe they can do it, leave even more cap room, and sign a good FA to fill a need

Speaking of Ghosts value, it was ZERO here in Philly. There was no place for him, so they had to get SOMETHING. That appears to be the rub. We think he was worth more. The rest of the GMs in the league disagreed, hence him be passed over on waivers. The return for him, assuming any players were offered, was obviously less in value than the cap space. Personally, I think there is a plan for that space, and a bigger need for the team. Considering the young players pushing, and the possibility of another signing, AND the need to re-sign existing players, this was a necessary move

I've been saying this for a while. You've been saying everything for awhile. As smart as you are, I find it interesting that you allow yourself to communicate with peasants like us. Sure, I get you. He looks "promising". He had a good year. Probably highlighted by the fct that so many others had an awful year. But recently the Flyers have had a lot of guys have "good" years, shortly followed by crap years (TK, this means YOU). So I'm not really that invested in him, or any other player. The Flyers are alot like the Eagles these days. Rooting for the team is the norm because Ive always done so. But the individual player that makes you more invested, becasue of their greatness, seems to be non existent. I can't think of a potential HOF player on the Flyers, Eagles or Philies. I don't care about the Sixers, so it doesn't matter anyway In those down years where your favorite team is not playing at a high level, its nice to root for your hero. The days of Tocchet, Lindros, Clarke, etc. , seem to be over. It has been replaced by a group of "promising", or good "200 foot" players who seem to really shine when they get traded to another team So, for me, I don't care who they move, trade or buy out. I just want them to get better so they are more fun to watch Caveat... I would watch if Morin was playing. He actually has the ability to do something interesting every night by beating someone up

Let's assume for a minute, and say it's true, Tarasenko comes to Philly. And let's say jake goes for him, and then Sea takes Hagg. What will the defense be like next season? Is Ellis to sole move there? If so: Provy/Ellis Saheim/? Ghost/Braun I know York and Zamula factor in here (mostly York), so I wonder what the plan is. Personally, I think another move is coming. I think we see another trade for a d-man. I also see rampant teeth gnashing, hand ringing and ledge jumping by many in our little forum
