Who was the dumb ass that said Ruff could not coach and was finished? Who? Come on!!!!! Where is the dumb ass? How is this team winning at this clip? Its completely unbelievable.

I have no idea how they keep winning. I watched the entire game Saturday and they were very very lucky. Hit posts by the Sabres and Boston was outplayed yet they sucked out. Luck is on their side. They do not strike fear in you like McDavid can with Edmonton. They just have luck and goaltending on their side.

Sabres played great but were stoned by their goalie. Final score doesn’t tell how good Sabres played in defeat. They will get it going. Played far better vs Boston than Phoenix. Schedule gets better soon. Young team without a trustworthy goalie. Boston likely has average age of early to mid 30s. Sabres 26 average. Many 21 year olds. Power and Dahlin will make a good blue line as long as Adams doesn’t lose them like Eichel

They have made a big deal of this game in Buffalo have the announcers and such. I doubt it means much to the Sabres players other than getting back in the win column after a bad performance vs the pesky Coyotes, who got stellar play from their goalie. The Tampa game was one they should have gotten at least a point in and if Dahlin were in the lineup they would have. Stupid play by defenseman with 3 minutes left. If we had a franchise goalie that would have been a win. Comrie has played very well in spurts, but he let in a stinker with 3 minutes left Vegas is off to a great start. I think they have the best record in the NHL along with the Devils. I am really surprised the Devil have done so well. Ruff was probably day near getting fired and then it was like a rocket taking off the way the Devils have played of late. I just cant see it continuing at this pace. Ill take Calgary tonight please. And Ill take the Sabres to play very well. Will it be enough? Might depend on the goaltending which i have zero faith in. I have no clue why Luukenen has not gotten the call yet. He has been good in Rochester. Good enough to get his shot. If not, go make a damn trade and Ill tell you who to trade. COZENS. TRADE HIM!!!!!!!!!!! He is a bum. He has killed us with giveaways, stupid penalties and last game he kicked the game winner into his own net, and the Sabres could never recover from his stupid mistake.

Of course they have to grow up. Guys like Paterka and Quinn are 21 , and Power. They are all good now. In time this team will be very good. Still need a goalie. But they can compete now. Blew out the Red Wings who suddenly have been playing good again.

Phoenix has been playing teams very tough of late, just coming off a win over the Capitals. Cant look ahead to Vegas. The Sabres will have to bring it to win. I am not sure if Dahlin will be back. I hope he is back for Vegas

Power has been fabulous. The idiot that should have blocked the winning goal I would bench as soon as Dahlin is back. If Dahlin was in we win that game. You guys were lucky to win that game. Thompson was burned out. He will be a different player at home. Especially when Vegas comes in with Eichel on Thursday.

Sabres deserved a better end last night. If we had Dahlin in lineup with 3 minutes left and score 3-3, they would have gotten to OT. That dumb ass whose name starts with an L simply had to go down and block the shot and we would have stopped them. We will get payback in Buffalo. It doesn’t sound like Dahlin will be out long but who knows. Thompson seemed a bit tired likely from the Carolina game the night before. We owe those bitch’s too

Hinestroza did not play and Comrie will no doubt start tonight in Tampa. Im sure Granato had to sit someone. Maybe it was Vinnie's turn. Comrie is obvioulsy the number one guy right now. So for reasons beyond me, Granato maybe looked at the game the night before seeing Carolina put like 54 shots on Tampa net? Vasilevsky had a great game in an OT loss . Not sure if he plays tonight? The Sabres should be fine. They are young and they are best in the third period. It should serve them well having to play in two tough buildings back to back. I would not count them out tonight. Dahlin found the net again and Power continues to impress. That kid is going to be a monster. Right now Thompson and Tuch are monsters. And so is Olofsson if you set him up like the highlight reel goal Power set him up with vs the Penguins.

Tough loss in a battle filled game. Dahlin was targeted by this dirty team and he will remember it. He fought to the bitter end scoring with one second left letting them know, we will see you again. I upstate NY. No time to worry, Tampa is next. And tody

The surging Sabres now go to Carolina to face one of the better teams in the East. Mayen the Sabres are on that list also? As of this post, they are firmly. Only Boston has a better record in the Eastern conference at the moment. The Islanders are picking up steam also. The Sabres have not just been winning, they have beat some quality teams along the way. Tage Thompsono and Tuch and Olofsson have been great and Dahlin and Powers have been pretty good also. Powers was very impressive setting up one goal last night vs Pittsburgh, faking the shot and then putting a perfect pass on the stick of Olofsson. They are really coming together so far. And I have to give Granato credit. He has done a good job. It seems he has really chosen Comrie to start over Anderson. Not sure of this move but time will tell. I still would like to see Luukenen get his shot. A big test as Sabres have a back to back with Canes and Bolts on Saturday afternoon I believe.

The Rangers are a good team. Maybe not as good as the Sabres but good. I expect them to drop Boston tonight. This is not going to continue much longer so it may as well be the Rangers that stops them.

Well we did just what I expected to the Penguins. Took them out to the wood shed in the third. The Sabres have been solid in the 3rd period. Yes I know the Penguins played Boston the night before. We have to do the same Friday and SAt. At Carolina and then home vs Tampa. Anyway, Sabres are 7-3 and 2nd only to Boston in the East. I am hoping the Rangers put the brakes on Boston tonight. Like their chances.

I have to be honest, I am SHOCKED by how well the Devils have played. They had a shaky lapse there but they snapped out and then some. . Ruff has proved what a good coach he is once again. I mean, this team is not loaded with talent yet they are winning including a 7-1 rout of the underachieving Blue Jackets. I really have no clue how good they are? The Sabres will see them eventually and then I will see for myself. But never discount the ability of Ruff to motivate a team

Pittsburgh blew a 5-2 lead with Jarry in net!! Not good. So the Sabres will no doubt see the backup goalie and I have no idea who it is? Ill go look it up soon. If the Sabres play anywhere near like they did vs Detroit they should win. The Sabres have been at their best in the third period. So the key here is to not fall too far behind early. Anderson could get the call but I am pretty much wrong every time I try to figure out Granato.

The Sabres blew out the Detroit Red Wings last night and they outplayed them big time. I think Comrie should not have let 3 in but he did. He and Anderson to me are the biggest concern. And growing pains from Own Powers who gave them one of the goals on a horrible turnover. Comrie had no chance on that one. But the rest of it was great. The Sabres just kept coming at them in waves and if they can continue playing like this, they can skate with any team. I only wish they would give Luukenen the shot now. We should know by now if he is the guy moving forward or not. If not, Adams needs to get us someone. This is the youngest team in the NHL so I must temper my enthusiasm knowing nights like Powers turning the puck over vs better teams than Detroit will happen. No Miller or Hasek back there to defend. What a nice Halloween night. Clobbering the Red Wings. Penguins in tomorrow. I still have this brand new Eichel jersey. What to do with hit. Its an NHL jersey. A real one. So no Im not burning it. But doubt Im wearing it either as I know many fans do that. Wear old jerseys.

I remember the game when the Rangers came in one Halloween many years ago. Crazy game, the Sabres put up 10 goals, and won, and that is all I can remember. i think it was something like 10-6? Dont expect that tonight. Isnt the former St Louis goalie a Red Wing now? You see they have a goalie. We do not. I believe in front of the goalie we are the better team. Talent wise, but we are the youngest team in the NHL. So that means growing pains. I hope Quinn gets going soon like Paterka has. I really do not want to see the kid sent back down to Rochester.

You know that I do not understand the sudden drop off by the Blues but with their talent they better fix things fast or Berube will be gone

I’m not going to give Boston anything after 9 games and most at home I believe. I agree with you they will taper off. And Tampa no longer strikes fear in me. The Rangers. Leafs and Florida on paper are the best teams in the East talent wise. As for my team, my biggest concern is goaltending
