But in the context of a lost season, getting a draft pick is worth it, assuming they draft wisely.... Along those lines--to his credit, he was brought in as a third pairing. He's performed admirably up and down the lineup and some say he's been better than Provorov this year. I guess the management did something right, and at age 35, he's still effective. Winnipeg just claimed Brooks from the Maple Leafs so guess we'll see. Even if they do I guess they want miss him 54 games will be 24 in April and has 3 points.
