flyercanuck
@sarsippius The "Molson Canadian" Alumni game? LOL. I think it's pretty cool this game sold out. A lot of my friends (none of whom are Philly fans or Ranger fans) are excited to see this game. There was a big discussion about it at the local watering hole yesterday afternoon while we were watching the US/Czech game. I was surprised how much it was discussed...and I didn't even bring it up. flyercanuck
Here's a game day thread on the alumni game. Those who read HF are well aware of MSEs "piece de resistance" Game Day Thread extrordinaire. He blows all other teams GDTs out of the water...enjoy...http://hfboards.com/...d.php?t=1051109 edit: Doom, you might want to add Shultzies "Penalty Box" to your playlist. It's at the end of MiamiScreamingEagles OP. Gold! Edited December 31, 2011 by flyercanuck

sarsippius
@flyercanuck Yeah I was a little surprised this sold out, STH had to buy this game to get Monday's game but that only accounts for 18k tix (according to the Flyers). Selling another 22-26k tix for an alumni game is awesome, people obviously really wanted to be a part of this. Taking my pre-teen daughter today, should be alot of fun
flyercanuck
@sarsippius Enjoy it, I'm sure you will. Hopefully you've been filling your daughters head with Flyer propaganda from the glory years.

Podein25
Tell the truth... when they did that nice little segment on Podein, you had tears in your eyes, right?True. Not the same kind of tears that watching Bryzgalov induces, but tears all the same.
