brelic Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Guess they'll be traded on Saturday!Holmgren said Sean Couturier and Brayden Schenn were untouchable in trade talks. http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/flyers/20130627_Flyers_could_take_a_chance_and_move_up_in_draft.html#gK43UgriuBWuvrpV.99 2 Quote
Samifan Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Good chance one of them will get traded. Remember Carter and Richards were both untouchable according to Homer two years ago. 1 Quote
OH1FlyersFan Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I hope he honestly means it this time, because I would like to see them develop for a few more years here in Philly. I think their value could go/be higher in two or three seasons. But by then, one or both very well likely could be somewhere else. Just hope it isn't in our conference biting our butt. Like Bobrovsky is going to do. But, yeah, the way things have gone, a comment like that is the kiss of death. Code for, the shop is open, now entertaining all offers! Quote
flyercanuck Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I don't know why anyone says anybody is untouchable. Gretzky was traded... Orr was traded. If the two best players of alltime can get traded, anyone can. If Tampa offers you their first pick in this draft for either, you take it IMO. If Boston offered Hamilton and their first, take it. No one is untouchable, if the right price comes along. Quote
Podein25 Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 @flyercanuckNo kidding. Even Shjon Podein was traded. Much regret later on that one. Quote
