Your boys started off well at least in the first and third. They came out with speed and had opportunities.  And on one particular power play they had what... Three two On ones?

The Pens were just more persistent and pressed over and over, finally solving Andrrson and pressing on from there.  Good game to watch though for stretches.

Leafs showed that they can be a fast paced team, and at times really pinned in the Pens.  Playing the night before never helps.

Typical Pens win under Sullivan though.    Keep pressing, keep skating fast, and eventually the goals come.

Great working mans goal by Crosby.   Moves to the net from the corner and then makes a little turn move to get goal side position on Zaitsev.   Easly tap in from there but it was that work just prior that made it work.  Flashy goals make highlight reels, but give this kind of effort around the net and you fill up the stat sheet.

Edit:  Oh yeah, and what a game by Murray, that particular sequence where he makes three straight saves on Leafs shorthanded shots point blank was spectacular.

The Leafs were just too tired after whipping the Flyers ass the night before. Plus not every team can throw out a goalie (Mason or Neuvirth) with an 85% save percentage so the Leafs had the deck stacked ah-gain-st them.

If only the Flyers goalie could have come up with an 85% save percentage against the Leafs.

I like the fact that he's trying to score more goals again. :)

Yeah, its weird seeing his stats at the moment, ten goals and three assists?   Never has he ended a year with more goals than assists, and its not usually close.  Of course we can't expect him to keep up this pace of goal scoring, but it fun to watch.
