Wow. Hans acquire Justin Barron and a 2nd for Lehkonen. As a mooseheads guy who watched Barron regularly... Comparing points and goals per game in the 80's to modern hockey isn't really feasible. A 50 goal scorer today is closer to a 60 goal scorer in the mid 80s. And a 40 goal scorer today is closer to a 50 goal scorer in the 80s. Kerr was a garbage goal scorer. Amazing at it. Money on the pp. Unmoveable in front of the net. But he was exceptionally 1 dimensional and that unmoveability is responsible for a lot of the punishment his back and knees endured. Im happy with it. Hertl, Meier, Eklund is still a nice trio, Couture can still be 2nd line C effectively. Karlsson still has gas in the tank and has played very well this year when healthy. The rest of our D outside Karlsson/Ferraro needs a makeover. Realistically, they need to buy out vlasic and trade Burns with 2 million retention(lots of team would perk up if Burns only made 6 million) and the situation isn't that bad.

I doubt Anaheim moves lindholm He is one of their best defensemen and their retool is near complete they have a crop of excellent young forwards, Drysdale invigorating their blue line, a star goalie in Gibson and old contracts coming off the books. Anaheim fans love him

Oh no, there isn't a prayer I can keep him. He couldn't crack my top 5 after I spent like all my picks loading up for the playoffs. But I meant I picked him up to stream for a few games and then wanted to drop him when he stopped scoring. But he hasn't and now I need to drop someone else. lol

Personally, I think Dumba wins this trade. I was scared shitless when you acquired Vasilievsky 3 weeks after trading Bob. You had been running with Fleury, Hart and more recently you grabbed Nedejkovic. but I still worried a ton after I saw Vasilievsky move to your team. I usually look at categories and hypothesize if I can win enough to beat someone. My look told me I could give you a run for your money on Goals, Assists, PPG, PPA, Faceoffs and Blocks and possibly SOG since Eichel came off IR and most goalie categories while flipping a coin on the lottery categories like SHP and GWG. I felt you trading Bob weakened your team and helped enable rux to shoot up the standings into a playoff spot. That changed the minute Vasilievsky moved to your team. Im surprised you gave him up. I still feel you have one of the strongest teams in the league and its going to take a lot of luck to beat you, but I feel you weakened it with this move to get stronger in areas you were already strong in. I know goalies make up less categories here than in the Keeper league so goalies are not as important, but it still seems like a strange move On the other end, i feel like you just filled your biggest need and didn't have to break the bank for it. You have McDavid, Ovechkin, Fox and a very strong offense that doesn't rely on faceoff wins and you just got a top 5 goalie in the league, while still owning the handcuff to the Wild net and the better Blues goalie. Some of your recent pickups are paying dividends(Toffoli, Boldy) and you have good depth. I've faced you twice this year and feel like I have some miraculous luck getting you on weeks where your offense is on a cold streak. But my goaltending was always a strong point. Now the scales have tipped in your favor

Oh it's fine to be a fan of any team here. We have fans for many franchises here. It's just heavy into those two teams because certain web forums had mass exodus' in the past from those two teams. I don't post a much as I used to in the main boards because I nearly live in the fantasy hockey section

I want to say TFG wins this trade, but it fills a need for yave that he could afford to pay for. I think it is to late though. 60 points out of 6th with 4 weeks to go is a tall hill to climb.

Eklund was excellent in his 9 games and I wish they kept him longer. After that our prospects look bleak. Merkley's defense is not as bad as advertised. his offense is not as good as advertised. i've seen flashes of his skating and skill, but he hasn't translated it at NHL level and he's had 20 games with karlsson out and plenty of chance.

Finally within shooting distance of that 2nd bi spot but im going to need a lot of luck to catch @Hale. Especially since I play him week 23
