wait, if he walks, how do the Flyers get a 2nd?
nevermind...I didn't know this was a thing

I know y'all were hoping he would return and show this team how to win but you're going to have to wait til next season.

my thought is, it is smart to not bring him back for meaningless games AND, it can only help their draft slot right?
I too like to hear he's a bit pissed about not playing and that he just wants to play...the team needs dudes like him for leadership but who knows how he's going to play once he's fully healthy, prob a 3rd line center Vet leader at this point. Probably still PP worthy. I've always liked him but also always been realistic as to how good of a player he is.
???
Hextall screwed the team up? I don't get it, IMHO Hextall was put in a terrible position, was handcuffed for years with bad contracts, lack of picks and managed to get the team back to "square one" somehow before they let him go. that's just me.
Not to mention, he had to go against-the-grain from Flyers "normal" order of business that got them in the bad position they were in.
