  1. So many names and memories for player growing with the game in Minnesota and North Dakota.
  2. So, were Zach Parise to choose retirement, still no Wild cap relief, am I right?
  3. Interesting strategy for Coyotes.....are they treading water or trying to win?
  4. Would think Adam Beckman, 22, 6-2, 182, has a shot at making team. He had 24 goals and 36 total points in Iowa last season, where he wore #11. He wore #53 in limited NHL call ups
  5. 97 Kaprisov 14 EEk 36 Zuccarello 90 Johansson 23 Rossi 12 Boldy 17 Foligno 89 Gadreau 38 Hartman 21 Duhaime 26 Dewar 20 Maroon 25 Brodin 46 Spurgeon 5 Middleton 7 Faber 4 Merrill 33 Goligoski 29 Fluery 35 McIntyre Tendered but unsigned 2 Addisson 32 Gustafson
  6. Duhaime signs one year deal at $1.1 million. Our 4th line left wing is set.
  7. Bleacher report says Dallas would like aDumba, but money would have to be cleared
  8. Interesting that big Pat had a limited no-movement clause and Minnesota was on the right side of that ledger.....
  9. Good question. Are players self-insured through players union? Would think league would have some consistency rather than each club providing team insurance....
  10. Has Gustafson accepted his qualifying offer?
  11. All the best to Jason Zucker in the desert with Arizona Coyotes!
  12. With rest of the league watching free agency, sneaky Wild name Jason King assistant coach! Well played, but, who?
  13. We all know Gary Bettman has a roulette wheel to help teams select coaches, but now it's apparent the league has a goalie pigwheel as well!
  14. Pretty sure Wild GM Guerin is fishing on a Minnesota lake today, not in this free agent pool
  15. McIntyre, Swaney and Mermis signed two-way deals. Addison, Duhaime and Gustafson qualified offers Steel and Shaw not tendered
  16. Bergeron, Toews both available. Maybe. Maybe not. Zach Parise, anyone? Tarasenko? Hell, Patrick Kane..... Wheeler in Winnipeg and Duschesne in Colorado released for buyouts. Would think Minnesota might take a chance on a veteran center, even if he's not ready to play, right away......
  17. And now he's on waivers for purpose of buyout
  18. Good news for Minnesota Wild fans wanting to see Charlie Stramel NCAA Icebreaker, Oct. 13-14 Oct. 13 Wisconsin at Bemidji (Minn.) State University, Sanford Center Oct. 14 Wisconsin at University of North Dakota, Ralph Engelstad Arena, Grand Forks He will be coached at Wisconsin by Mike Hastings, who just left a successful run at Mankato State to lead the Badgers.
  19. Associated Press reports team identified six properties in the East Valley for potential purchase. These, apparently, would not require a public referendum. Interesting draft picks, but not too many 6-5 skating wingers pop up....
