    Minot (N.D.) State University, ACHC-champion played up over the weekend, losing exhibition contests in Colorado to NCAA Division 1 and NCHC members CC (7-1) and Denver (9-3). ACHC is basically club hockey, but Minot has a number of junior-level players on its roster.

    And Jasper Wallstedt injured? Zane McIntryre, 31, Thief River Falls/Fargo Force/UND, has limited NHL experience with Boston. He's 6-2, 200. Great individual, volunteer coach in Moorhead while with Fargo in USHL.

    Bemidji State 5 Bowling Green 2 BSU freshman Eric Pohlkamp, D, named to Team USA Junior Team bound for Sweden. Bemidji (Minn) State University sits atop the Central Collegiate Hockey Conference at Holiday break heading into Dec. 28-29 home-and-home series with NCHC intrastate rival St. Cloud State University. Bemidji game is Dec. 29 at Sanford Center.

    Just watched highlights. Two UND freshmen stood out with goals: Dylan James (DET) with a speed demonstration on Friday. James is from Calgary. Cameron Berg (NYI) with a rocket on Saturday. Berg is from West Fargo, ND.
