Great clarifications, thanks for those. After reading them I realise the Bjugstad deal is another solid performance from Guerin. Fair, useful and right towards everyone.
That must be the reason for the drought. The hockey gods obviously think that it's all about the possession of the Cup. Send the Cup to Tampa for keeping and the Leafs will start winning again and TBL will stop winning
Impressive Calder! The records shattered are listed here:

Tenth Calder winner drafted 5th round or later 🖐🖐
In fifty years of watching team Finland competing against its betters I really should recognise when a team manages to win with mediocre material. One can't keep on winning for ever, but one can keep on surprising other teams. We'll see if the Habs' story ends now (but even if it does, I'll be predicting at one out of four - that's worse than a meteorologist ).
Guerin and Leipold are all about winning. The selling is secondary. Besides, one sells better if one is a contender. You can't overpay much, if one wants to build a good team. There's nothing sinister in this, it's just business. We'll just have to hope a good deal for both parties is negotiated.
The Habs'll get swept. No way this CinderFella's clock is not ticking at 12 o'clock midnight. They might win one, but I doubt even that, because they have already spent everything they have to get into the finals. I expect a very dull series.
Marvelous series. That Caufield is something else, isn't he! Rookie of the year if he had played during the regular season.
That's it, though. No team with three Finnish players in key roles ever won the Stanley Cup. Wait, the 80's Oilers maybe did. But they had Gretzky.
Risky because of the neck injury, the humongous amount of money needed and possible character problems. I went for NYR. The owner there is not afraid to take risks - even if he should.
