  1. Agree on both counts. It must be awesome to have an organization that is trying, though.
  2. I literally don't have an option. My wife works from home full time and i work hybrid (mostly in office by choice). We need to bandwidth and we literally don't have an option. Though it's "not a monopoly."
  3. Love the gif. Hurts a bit, but it made me laugh.
  4. I just wrote this in PM but figured why the hell not here. I think i wrote this before, but if not: my wife worked for Comcast corporate for two years for internal communications for their Xfinity engineering group. In the two years she was there, they had four reorgs (laid off on the fourth reorg at Christmas, but not the point to this). They'd have a really involved project, were nearing completion and presentation and WHAM!: reorg. They'd scrap literally everything and then refocus on something else only for the exact same thing 6 months later. I'm telling you: the Flyers aren't a Comcast accident; it's their business model. Sadly, I don't have an ISP option where we live so i have to pay way too much to these d###s knowing exactly where 75% of it is going. There's no fiber here and I refuse to go to DirecTV.
  5. I always knew I liked you. I'd cheer for your Stars out of respect, but everyone here will tell you that won't turn out well for them. Before i became a Flyers fan I was a huge fan of Enron.
  6. The mouth breathers on Facebook (no offense to people from the second largest city in Arizona) are all "poor Brendan" and "and a 5th!?" Most of them have apparently had a couple fifths. I wish this were a joke. Hieroglyphic for joke:
  7. We have become the Washington Capitals circa 1996-Ovechkin. It reminds me of a group of us going to the Cap Centre because tickets were impossible in Philly. I started out thinking it was the proximity to Philly that made the Caps diehards outnumbered. Until I went to a Caps/Avs game and they were still outnumbered. As a Philly fan, I was actually embarrassed for them despite my despising anything Capitals. It was probably a 4 or 5-to-1 ratio visiting fans vs. home. I mean, the Caps were booed when they came out in warm-ups. Your post reminds me of that. It's sickening.
  8. If only some idiot would trade us Barkov for Scott Laughton. Because all of us (except one) know that's the way it works!
  9. Phoenix Jr. But from his vantage, a ferret is smart.
  10. I'll be shocked but happy right along with you.
  11. Yes. Hopefully we can trade Hayes for the couple of stars we keep being told about that other GMs are just dying to trade for garbage. For JVR,, too. 2 stars for each gets 4. $8m each for 8 years is a suppressed salary cap league. Because,, clearly, that's how all the other cup winners are doing it. (None of this is directed at you). I feel dumber for having written that. I heard that, though, when I was in the second largest populated city in Arizona. They're all brilliant out there. Not a nut among them.
  12. I'm sorry. This is factually ridiculous and completely detached from reality.
  13. Best, truest post you've ever written (except for the "you guys all"). Right there with you on the Torts dislike. And the weird nostalgia-driven delusions involving Keenan every time the Flyers have a head coach opening.
  14. All you're doing is using facts and reason. This chart shows the path:
  15. 1) Go to store with no money and no credit 2) Give away savings 3) Go outside to dumpster 4) Dive 5) Find half-eaten, unwrapped Dietz & Watson 6) Trust the sandwich 7) Vomit 8 ) Go to website and proselytize that this is a valid way to do business. Argle bargle.
  16. Fair. I'm starting to doubt I'll ever be 30 again.
