I think it may have been the choices in the draft order neighborhood.
He didn't want Montreal, car c'est français. Et parce que les impôts sont terribles.
He didn't want Arizona, because his basement is bigger than the arena they play in.
He apparently really didn't want Washington and didn't think he'd make it past them if Philly didn't take him.
So, cheesesteaks, hoagies, pretzels and UPENN syphillis it is.
Probably why I don't own a team because I would have without blinking.
I never liked Lindros. I thought he was a douchebag before he was a Flyer and nothing after changed my mind. Sure, I cheered because it was nice to see the Flyers be competitive again after the z Holmgren, Jay Snider years, but he was still a douchebag.
But I wouldn't have traded the package for him, and I would have seen what package I could have gotten for trading him instead of Brindy.
Unlike Bobble Head can't skate without looking at the puck, Brindy actually won something.
I don't know. Im liked him but how much of positioning and stick work was because he was a head taller than most when he played?
I suppose, but I'm not sure with someone like Cam York. Maybe.
Was screaming the exact same thing at the television while watching the draft. They could have traded back to 12-17 to a team that wanted to draft a top 10 player and still would have had a straight shot at their late 20s dreamcream.
Holy crap what a group. I'm still shocked about Zadina. I really liked him in his draft year.
I'm still on why no one tried. It really would have amounted to a one year "show me" and then waive him if not. I can't imagine want either Philly or Arizona have to lose.
You have a better vantage. Is he simply not an NHL player or is there something "culture" that is scaring teams off?
