Okay it’s one game. Obviously they need to get better defensively. I’m not blaming Fleury on any of them. With that said I’ll be surprised if Talbot isn’t in next game

Please, give me a definition of special teams. What is that means? So many times I have heard that word. I did not see any special for the Blues. Good strong team, 2019 Stanley Cup winner.

"Special teams" simply refers to when teams are NOT on even strength..... either the power play or the penalty kill are considered special teams.
Nothing to do with the description of BEING special.

So when you hear something like, "Special teams will be key" in who wins, all they mean is, the power play and penalty kill will be most important in a team's win or loss, for example.
