Ryan Reaves probably takes Petan's spot on the 4th line; but beyond that...and Fleury returning the lineup will probably be pretty close to what we used Wednesday night against Winnipeg I'd imagine.

Let's see what the Wild can do against the high scoring Leaves®

Toronto hasn't been able to move on from the 1st round in several years (when they've even MADE the playoffs), and much of that has to do with the fact that teams play them hard and physical and their top six doesn't have nearly the same amount of space as they do during the regular season.

The way this Wild team is shaping up now, low scoring, defense first (at least that seems to be the attempt), and very physical, it looks like the type of recipe that could give the Leaves® fits.
But then again, if the Wild start their all too familiar parade to the penalty box, and allow the Toronto PP to run loose, this could be a very looooong afternoon.

I wanna see Minnesota smother these guys, frustrate them....and maybe squeeze out a 2-1 or 3-2 win in regulation.
Gotta be smart though.

What's the over/under on time in minutes before Ryan Reaves picks a fight with Mitch Marner to try and fit in? :bigteeth:

Hopefully Dean Evason is NOT assigning Calen Addison to Auston Matthews.
Matthews is too much physically for Calen.

Watching him just now, Calen looked like a gnat Matthews too easily swatted off his back in the battle for the puck down low.

And now Marner gets a shot in, MAF didn't see it, and in it goes.
Looks like Reaves better start that fight with Mitch now...

Yep.
And the fact that players were layered like lasagna in front of MAF didn't help either...

I was a center in my playing days. I remember like it was yesterday when I lost a draw in our defensive zone at the state peewee tourney in overtime and the opposing team scored on it. Pissed me off to no end. From then on I worked on draws constantly and got pretty damn good at them. Still bugs me when I lose one in beer league

Haha, I know exactly that feeling, I was playing center too and moreover on the PK unit.

Why can’t refs call 2 penalties in the same play? Another example with Kaprizov taken down

I've seen that happen (I think)...but it sure is about as rare as a Toronto second round playoff series! :bigteeth:

And with that, Kap says, "Won't call a penalty? Eat goal!"

Tie score!
