Greetings:

The Flyers are favorites (-168) with a predicted 6-3 score:

Yes, you read correctly.  We are playing a team that has given up 5 goals per game over the last 10.

Both their goalies are well below .900 save percentage, and other than the power play, we are better (that is a stretch) statistically:

I guess the big questions might be with roster.  Who gets scratched?

I may watch to check the kid out.

Depends on what time i get home from work.

This to me is them turning the page on DeAngelo.

Otherwise just play him and leave the kid in LV.

I am totally happy if DeAngelo has played his last game for the Flyers.

Ginning is a plus 24 or something like that. That is fantastic for a rookie defenseman. Maybe Ginning can actually play defense and prevent some goals. Down the road you can team Soyheim with Ginning so that Soyheim can try and create more offense since he has a partner who is  solid defensively. Maybe Sanheim will even become more confident having a partner who can protect him.

Nothing wrong with dreaming...

Soyheim has skill, I just think he’s mentally and physically soft. You ever have a friend who was a total puss   y with the women  and you go out as a group and team him up with a real DickSlinger and suddenly he has a few drinks and hes talking  to all the women and his  sack grew exponentially .That’s what I envision Ginning or  Attard doing for Sanheim on the ice , he needs motivation and confidence.

Yeah great analogy but I don't know about him his seems like his nuts have been clipped. Do they grow back?

Well, I guess the bookies were right...but it took OT to get there.  The game was marginally watchable, but I'm glad Tippett strutted his stuff.

We witnessed the end of the road for JVR.  TDA is probably out.  The joys of transition and mess-clean-up.

Healthy scratch 4 games in a row…probably be 5 on Thursday. Tortorella went so far as to play 13F/5D the other night rather than play DeAngelo. Hardly a surprise given his history. I am surprised it took so long, whatever “it” was that got him scratched.
