jammer2 Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 @Podein25 I read the President of Russia offered the star Russians 25 mill in cash, ON TOP OF their saleries to defect back to Russia and play in the KHL, I could see that happening with a few of the players, OV, Datsuyk and Kovy being front and center. I know there is transfer issues etc, but do you really want to tie up your salary cap with a star who does not have his heart in playing on this side of the pond? He's one of the few Russians I can stand.I like Burmistrov too. When he was sent to Saint John's during the lockout the media tried to create an issue of whether he would really prefer going home to Russia. He took a very professional stance saying he was a Jet and would go where he was told. I respect that.
