Canucks win Game 5.....as I thought they might.

Bears repeating, Calgary is still a very young and inexeperienced team, and they were faced with the daunting task of putting away a desperate Vancouver Canucks team with their fair share of vets.

Well, now that the Flames got that near miss out of the way, NOW they can focus on getting the job done of moving on to the next round.

Not like Calgary was deflated in Game 5. For sure, Vancouver put out some awesome defensive effort, but the Flames were in it all the way.

Calgary goes back home now....series is still 3-2 in their favor, they  have two shots now to put this away.

Obviously, Game 6 for ending it is preferable, because we all know that if it goes to 7, ANYTHING can happen.....and Vancouver will have all the momentum, DESPITE having Ryan Miller in net.

Regroup and go for it next game, Calgary.

You boys got this.

Reasons why Vancouver lost:

-They are too slow.

-Bieksa plays like a grumpy old man.

-Sbisa has non-contender positional skills.

-Far too many blind passes, which end up being turn overs.

-Too few hits and blocked shots.

-The Sedin brothers fail to go into overdrive when it is necessary.

What should be done about it?

-Bieksa on waivers.

-Trade Miller.

-Faster offensive zone pressure.

-Better defensive positioning.

-Major goalie training.

-Pick up some new young players that are capable of being franchise players.

I was way off on the sweep, but got the Flames correct at least...which is a decent call, since it's the first time they have advanced past the 1st round in over a decade. The Canucks....they need to blow this thing up...they need to get rid of the twins, been saying it for years. They tie up WAY to much cap space and fold like a cheap tent when the going gets tough! Will be tough to find a suitor though, who has the cap space for both those twins??? You just know they will never agree to be separated. If you could find somebody who wanted them both, you would have to take FAR less than market value, just cause of the cap hit.

At least HJ stays perfect with his Miller predictions.

In the games Miller started in, he was quite mediocre, like he always is, and like he always will be. Mediocre is the one word that perfectly sums up Ryan Miller's career
