I think in his head if they do make the playoffs and if he gets a good report in his last doctors visit he will be able to suit up. Now, I believe that is from his perspective.
I think Kevin Fiala continues his surge tonight in Montreal and gets at least 3 points in the game. A rested Cam Talbot will do well and the Wild will get a 5-2 victory tonight.
You guys need a top line C correct? Well maybe Fletcher might be on top of that. He might just try and get Mikko Koivu to come out of retirement and there ya go.
Are they not retooling the front end of the Flyers or it seems that way to me. I think they have some very good players such as Konecny, Farabee, Frost and Lindholm. They need to get rid of this rubbish like Hayes, Atkinson, and Van Riemsdyk.
I think the best thing for Keith Yandle to do once this season is over is to skate off into the sunset and retire.
I hate when a player like him has had a great career and then he continues on and plays like this. I know they love the game, but there comes a time when you have to say you have to hang the skates up.
I think the signing of Fleury gives the Wild added depth everywhere heading into the playoffs. You can't go wrong with that. It also gives the Wild one of the most prolific playoff goalies out there. If he gets hot between the pipes there is no telling how far this team can go. This team seems to have it all and a very strong chance to take it all the way.
In the playoffs the backbone is the goalie and there is a short list I would want on my team heading into the playoffs and Fleury is one of them.
Sometimes chemistry is a huge key in the mix of things and there can be times when a player just doesn't fit in or in this case work with another player.
Any trade for a guy with the youth of Provorov and the talent has to land something back that is going to say WOW that trade just made our team a hell of a lot better. Not a trade where you get a player that is going to end up giving you the same sort of stats as the player you traded.
That is certainly not out of reach. I also never like teams that are heading into the playoffs that are on fire like the Avalanche, Blues, and the Panthers. To me that is a perfect sign for a playoff letdown.
I think most teams want to work with the players they drafted and work with them to see the progress. At least that is the way I think it is supposed to go. Trades that are unilateral like Provorov for Chycrun just don't make much sense. Now if some team is offering an upgrade of a player that is around the same age as Provorov that makes sense. Just don't make a trade because a player is having a down year that is just going to end up giving you the same type of player in return.
They did put together a solid game
I still think they have things to work on heading into the playoffs, but I think they have solid depth to go a long way.
The Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Most exciting playoff system in sports. I never go with the chalk and most certainly do not go with the teams that are super hot going into the playoffs like the Panthers, Avalanche, and Blues.
In the East I am going to pick the New York Rangers and out of the West the Minnesota Wild.
The Wild will win the cup in 7 games.
The State of Hockey with go Wild!!!!!!
As the season is winding down many players have certain goals. Some of these goals are even tied into their contracts. Goals, Assists, Minutes, whatever. Why not -50 for Yandle.
