We had to suffer for years with ridiculous and stupid contracts to JVR, and Voracek, to name a few. I'm not willing to give TK 10 million per year, especially if the contract is for anything more, than a 4 year deal.

I hope the Flyers get Zegras, but the price is almost certainly going to be steep. A prospect, a 1st round pick and Laughton? I don't know. Maybe we can find a way to get Pat Verbeek drunk enough to take Atkinson and Laughton, and not give up that high a pick.

I missed the first period, but they really did a solid job defensively against a very good team, in their Miami barn. Well done, and Ersson was excellent. Good effort to start the second half of the season. Florida is so solid defensively, and in the net with Bob and Stolarz. They were tonight also. It wouldn't surprise me much, if Florida came out of the East again.

All I have to say about it is, this whole situation first and foremost...is terrible. Secondly, Carter Hart deserves due process, as does all involved. The victim needs to be treated fairly also, of course. Innocent until proven guilty, and all sides need to be heard. I have no problem with this contract. Yeah, the years are a bit long but at that point..when he's in his 30s..it's a friendly enough contract for the team, that he's moveable. Good deal. I like the Poehling contract, too. Danny B is doing well.

It looks like the team, might have been at some of the local Detroit bars before the game. They look awfully sluggish offensively..though you'd figure with 19 shots through two periods, one would go in. Even though i thought our goaltending has been good this year, tonight is not one of those nights. Giving up three goals on 12 shots, can't happen.

If only the Flyers would have gotten ONE of those shots at the end, on net, they could have easily tied this game.

Ersson won't like his save % after this one. That being said, he's had a good third period.
