A good article on what happened, but mostly on where the Toronto Maple Leafs go from here..and what changes are possible, or likely, to happen in their off-season.

I think they clean house from the team president to the head coach, Matthews is leaving, and they absolutely..if they're smart.. will look to upgrade their goaltending. It wouldn't surprise me if they trade Marner, and Nylander goes elsewhere.

This was great!
I watched the post game interview live when he said this.

Goes to show, the age old adage is true..."Be careful what you ask for....because, dammit, you may get it, and get it good!"
Or something like that.... :bigteeth:

Goaltending has always been the achilles heel of this team but one of the bright spot in the middle of this darkness ocean is the emergence of Woll. I really think he can become a good and reliable NHL goalie and be part of the Leafs' future.

What will the Leafs give us for Travis Sanheim?

They need defense and he needs a change of scenery.

Maybe Matthews boyhood idol can work something out for his services.

Something fair for both sides.

I don’t really see why this is controversial.

The whistle blows because the refs can't see the puck.

The puck crosses the line when the goalie stands up AFTER the whistle has blown.

Where's the controversy?

Oh wait, I forgot, it's Toronto.
