Game 23: Flames at Flyers; 11/23/19 @ 7 PM

Greetings:

We are mild favorites:

https://winnersandwhiners.com/games/nhl/11-23-2019/calgary-flames-vs-philadelphia-flyers-prediction-8187/

Calgary won the first matchup 3-1 on October 15.  This is an underperforming Calgary squad, but there's skill and speed that the O and B have found challenging (we've lost five of the last six).  Carter Hart is apparently between the pipes and Scott Laughton is back.  This should make for some interesting lines this evening.

Nice to seem them get a win last game...it scares me though with a struggling Flames team coming in.

For whatever reason the Flyers the last couple years they have become the "slump busters"...sorry but it's true.

Flyers last 10: 5-2-3 won 1.

Flames last 10: 3--1 lost 5.

Losing 5 in a row and facing this Flyers just scares me...i hope they can prove i am wrong.

Interesting to see Scott Laughton slap on the 3rd line LW instead of JVR who i guess is officially in the doghouse.

So basically one boat anchor on the second (Jake) and one boat anchor on the 4th (JVR). Awesome.

You'd hope the fourth line could generate some points. On paper, they are big with some skill. Maybe I am deluded.

Just make sure you have plenty of wine on hand...it may needed....it could be ugly.

Omg... Jake actually scored..... I’m in shock!!

LMAO. Dropped on NAHANA and (despite the fact I hate him) I grabbed him.

I'm actually surprised he can still walk unassisted.

And just like that, the Flames tie the game with a minute and a half to go.

Not sure Carter Hart could have done anything on that one timer though.
Nasty.

Could be looking at an OT here.

They left Lindholm all alone ( smh)
