lynxrattle
This game is going to tell a lot about the Wild. Is post-BB Evason-led Wild just another post-Yeo Torchetti-led Wild, that initially plays well, only to fail miserably in the end? It's hard to imagine any playoffs success, if they lose to another non-playoffs team like this in a row. Let them show that recent successes have been for real

Let them show that recent successes have been for real I think our team did not take seriously LA Kings yesterday, which won previously 4 games in a row including pretty good teams from Pittsburgh, Vegas and Toronto . And Stalock's game, unfortunately, was not the best one too.
Alexandron
A first half of a 2nd period is kind of boring to watch from our side. Ducks are pressing, but we are doing practically nothing. No offense at all. An interest to the game at this moment is dropping down too.

I still would prefer Stalock and even Robson for a tryout to build for him some NHL professional confidence.

CreaseAndAssist
Fiala and Rask Clutch for the Wild in 5-4 Overtime Win in Anaheim Dubnyk played like he normally does (crap) but the team dug deep and Fiala bailed him out with a victory. Kind of an ugly choppy and chippy game. Sort of like what they've seen this entire California road trip but the team managed to go 2-for-3 and now are back in the playoff picture for now. Unlikely we'll still be there when we play Vegas on Thursday but we got 2 more crucial points. I have a full game recap, an Iowa Wild report and ton of prospect news as well as a full State Tournament summary. Check it out!
lynxrattle
Fiala an expected gamebreaker, but huge goals from Gally and Rask too! A nice surprise! They just managed to get their act together, enough for the points. That's all we're asking. Great!
CreaseAndAssist
Rask's goal was impressive. IMO, I'd try to give him another chance. When you consider how long he spent just watching from the pressbox and to play as well as he did was a credit to him. Yes, I know he's a professional but he was assertive and engaged...good to see.

Let's say he is our second Gaborik in the Wild history. . And our win in OT was practically a Fiala's win when the team received a PP after his individual play around the net. And then he finally scored a game winning goal during that PP time. If he will play this way consistently till the rest of the season, then he has a chance to make a 30 goals this season. It is going to be the best achievement in his professional career. Parise also having a chance to make a 30 goals this season as well.
