  1. 1. Stanley Cup Champion: Beast of the East or Best of the West?

    • 1-- Bolts in 4. Defending Champs blow the hype right the hell up and disappoint many Western fans, and irritate odds makers!

    • 2-- Bolts in 5. Series doesn't quite live up to the hype as TB makes short work of the Avs, only giving up one game due to Bolts' team bus running late...

    • 3-- Bolts in 6. Great series that sees a bit of everything, but the Lightning still show why they have been the best for the last three seasons...and why the Avs still need a bit more work.

    • 4-- Bolts in 7. Fantastic set that truly shows hockey can be a game of inches....and rulers and yardsticks favor the defending Champions who make it 3 in a row!

    • 5-- Avs in 4. Predators, Oilers....Lightning. Makes no difference to the powerful, hungry Avalanche. They sweep. New Champs.

    • 6-- Avs in 5. TB tries but finally finds a team that matches and exceeds them at every turn. Vasy steals a game, but that's it.

    • 7-- Avs in 6. Colorado grows by leaps n bounds even during this series, and dethrones the defending champions on their own ice!

    • 8-- Avs in 7. Epic set. New Champs crowned. Old Champs fall just shy of historical greatness. And all in front of the Denver home crowd!

Key player for the Lightning team Kucherov was injured tonight. We do not know yet if he will be available for the game#4 on Wednesday. But probably, for Avalanche team Francouz will be a starting goalie for the game#4. Overall shots for tonight game were 32 shots for Tampa and 39 shots for Colorado team.

You know, how the Avs played this game wasn't too different from what they did in the first two games.

The big difference tonight, was TB NOT turning the puck over as much, capitalizing on scoring opportunities given to them, and finally, FINALLY getting in close on the Avalanche goal where I always said Colorado may have a weakness, as they don't seem as solid when attackers take it to the net, while doing fine shutting down mid-long range shots and plays.

Brayden Point wasn't available tonight and now the Bolts face the possibility of not having Nikita Kucherov for Game 4.
Despite the win, and despite being at home, things just don't get easier for the Lightning....and the Avs still may end up getting Nazem Kadri back at some point.

It is fixed..actually it was fixed 3 days ago  (it is located under the All Activity tab)...... besides you have to realize many of us have lives outside of this forum and we do the best we can to fix things when something is broken.  Thank You

Nikita Kucherov and Nick Paul were in bad shape after yesterday's game too. 
Paul left the game part way through, Kuch towards the end after that dirty slew foot-like move by Devon Toews I believe it was.

So possibly no Point, Kucherov or Paul moving forward....pffft....should mean the Lightning will sweep away the next three games! :bigteeth:

Or call the OCP: They are pretty good at fixing bodies in real bad shape.

Just in the right place at the right time.  Tampa grabbed him because of that clutch goal he scored for the Blues.  The Blues did not win the Cup because of him.  Id say Teresenko and O'Reilly had far more to do with it.  And Binnington.  Same with Tampa.  He is not the reason they won.

Yes you guys do a very good job unlike those damn fools at the Inquirer.   LOL.  Speak for yourself about the life outside the forum. I know you have one, a busy one at your trade.  Its a very demanding profession depending on where you are doing it. Here at Wegmans, its non stop busy.

Boys back at it tonight.

Do we have a brand new even squared series? 
Or does Colorado put Tampa Bay back in the hole?

Haven't seen much in the way of definitive injury reports yet, so not sure who the probables are.
As mentioned, Kucherov, Paul, and Point were questionable at last check for the Lightning.
Kadri, Girard, and Burakovsky are the big names to keep an eye on for the Avalanche.
