Couturier is off the ice as of today, not skating and not progressing in his "recovery." When he finally gets the surgery they said he didn't need then he'll be in recovery. Hart is getting a lot of work - game could be out of reach already - but both goals were bad goals. Florida will simply have to clean those things up (bad decision making with the puck, not locking down the defensive zone, etc) if they want to be serious contenders, and Philadelphia shouldn't expect the better teams to always provide them with those avenues either. That said, I will give the Flyers credit on the fact that they ARE taking advantage of what is given them....for the most part anyways. Over the last three seasons or so, as you know, that couldn't be said about the team. Other teams could sleepwalk right through them and Philly would be none the wiser. At least this year's group look like the type that if you are gonna "eff off" on assignments like Florida has done here and there, then they will do all they can to take advantage of it.
